Why join?

- Walk back to the fire at the lodge if the bad weather arrives and the lifts close.
- Enjoy last laps knowing you only have a 5min walk home (or ski to the door when snow allows).

- Skiing on a budget? Go back to the lodge for a warm lunch.
- Kids have had enough? The lodge is perfect to break-up the daily naps, and swap parental duties so you both get your laps.

Becoming a ski club member provides benefits of lower nightly rates than a non-member, and you can stay without needing to be hosted by a member. Once your membership is confirmed you'll have access to the online lodge booking system to request a reservation.
Waitomo Ski Club does not have a resident custodian, so a roster system shares the daily running and cooking duties amongst all guests as set by the lodge officer. Duties are required to be undertaken prior to skiing.
Membership options
The lodge is maintained through a summer work-party system. Members are expected to attend, and receive night credits for their help. New members must attend one working bee to confirm their membership - membership is provisional until a work party has been attended within the first two seasons of joining.
Joining fees includes the first year subscription for new members.
Senior
One adult (18yo and over at 1st May)
Junior
One child (under 18yo at 1st May)
Junior members must be accompanied by a senior member, and can only book non-member guests through the senior member.
Couple
Two adults (18yo and over at 1st May)
Family
Two adults, and two children (under 18yo at 1 May)
Associate
Associate membership is only available to Senior or Junior members who wish to retain a level of membership of the Club which requires lower fees and offers reduced rights and privileges, with a special right to again become a Senior or Junior member on application to the Committee and payment of full subs.
